Star Wars 8 TRAILER: Did Rian Johnson just CONFIRM ‘something’s coming’ for Last Jedi?

Several reports – let alone a deleted tweet by Mark Hamill – have indicated that the full promo will debut during tomorrow night’s NFL game in the US.

However, as of right now, nothing has been officially confirmed by LucasFilm.

Still, Johnson took to Twitter last night – and sent his followers into meltdown as he tweeted simply a YouTube video of the West Side Story number Something’s Coming.

In just six hours the post has amassed nearly 2,000 ‘likes’ and hundreds of retweets and replies.

So far nothing Star Wars 8 trailer related has been announced by the Star Wars team themselves, however it’s been pointed out that this was the exact same scenario with Episode 7: The Force Awakens in 2015.

In that scenario, producers announced the trailer roughly one day ahead of its premiere, and also revealed a poster – so will the same happen again?

The first Star Wars: The Last Jedi teaser was released back in April – and fans have been waiting for more ever since.

The most that’s been revealed has been a behind-the-scenes reel in July at D23.

Episode 8 marks the half-way point in the new trilogy, with J. J. Abrams set to return to the fold for Episode 9, still untitled, out in 2019.

The cast will be back to work for that next summer – although one star in particular has implied that her return is not set in stone.

Star Wars: Episode 8 – The Last Jedi is out on December 14 in the UK.
