The show also included an enormous 52 F-bombs, which amounted to one every 40 seconds.
Stars including Coronation Street‘s Ryan Thomas, 33, and Olympian Iwan Thomas, 43, were among the worst offenders with a combined 35 naughty words between them.
One viewer said: “Do they have to swear so much!! #CelebrityIsland.”
Another fumed: “I like a swear word as much as the next bloke but there is no need for the language on #CelebrityIsland.”
A third added: “Watching Celebrity Island… Why do they have to swear at every other word. #NotNecessary.”
A fourth commented: “Swear swear swear. All over a stream. #CelebrityIsland.”
However, Channel 4 told The Mirror that the survival show was “appropriately scheduled” after being preceded by a strong language warning.
They added that the programme “reflects the experiences of those on The Island”.
This comes as viewers raged over Iwan’s appearance on the show, calling him “annoying” just minuted into the opening episode.
As the Welsh sportsman nominated himself as as the group’s leader, fans of the show blasted him for trying to be “Alpha male”.
