Strictly Come Dancing: Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman prepare for new series

The stunning duo waltz back on to our screens next month to pair up celebrities and professional dancers for the 15th series of the smash hit show.

Tess, 48, and Claudia, 45, will host a spectacular curtain raiser on September 9 which will feature an emotional “all singing, all dancing” tribute to former host Sir Bruce Forsyth who died on August 18, aged 89. 

Strictly’s troupe of professionals are currently rehearsing a glittering routine in honour of Sir Bruce’s 75-year career.

Executive producer Louise Rainbow said: “We all want to celebrate him and all that he loved about the show. Sir Bruce was, and will always be, a huge part of Strictly Come Dancing.”

Celebrities taking part in the series include Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins, Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford, Rev. Richard Coles, funnyman Brian Conley and Paralympian Jonnie Peacock.

After his first rehearsal former Communard Rev Mr Coles, 55, said: “The director claps me on the back and says ‘You’re a dancer!” I beam, then I realise he actually said “You’re done, sir.”
