Today’s instalment off the BBC cooking programme had viewers flooding to Twitter to complain after it was revealed that it wouldn’t be aired live.
The pre-recorded episode, hosted by TV favourite Matt Tebbutt, 43, received criticism from fans who blasted the format change, with one saying: “Why was #SaturdayKitchen not live and why was a pre-recorded show SO boring???”
Two more commented on the “flat” atmosphere of the episode, while another quipped: “If it’s not live it must be dead…”
Others were puzzled by the shake-up, but one had a theory, asking: “Is there a reason #SaturdayKitchen isn’t live anymore? Too much accidental swearing?”
“Why are you guys not live today?” another social media user begged.
However, some fans weren’t as irritated by the pre-recorded show.
