Chan Marshall Says Tenth Cat Power Album Coming Soon
Oh, hey. Cat Power (aka Chan Marshall) has a new album on the way — the first since 2012’s Sun, which featured a remix by Nicolas Jaar, vocals by Iggy Pop, and other collaborations. She announced the news on her Instagram: “Did I mention I have a TENTH ALBUM READY TO GO…Back in the game.” Marshall’s a new mom and previously suffered some health issues, but she did just open for Nick Cave in Los Angeles, performing solo.
