Sean Spicer, better known as the White House’s comic relief and press secretary, has resigned. Spicer is reportedly stepping down, because Donald Trump appointed a new communications director, Anthony Scaramucci. Spicer’s role will be replaced by his deputy, Sarah Huckabee Sanders. More importantly, what did Spicer think of Melissa McCarthy’s unhinged, podium-raging parody of him on Saturday Night Live? “I think that there were parts of it that were funny, but there’s a lot of it that was over the line,” Spicer told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Friday. With Alec Baldwin’s return to Saturday Night Live as Donald Trump later this year, who will play Scaramucci and the obviously very jealous Spicer?
