Stormzy also opens the track with a heartbreakingly poignant rap verse.
Bridge Over Troubled Water was recorded at Sam Studios in West London, just half a mile from the tower.
Sande said yesterday: “It’s a hard time not to feel quite helpless, I’m just happy I could give my voice and my passion,” she said.
“It was quite emotional. When I listen to the song it reminds me just how powerful music and lyrics can be.”

Cowell has also made a sizeable personal donation to the relief effort for the victims of the blaze, which took place one week ago.

Theresa May has agreed to waive VAT on the track.
“Honestly – it’s unbelievable,” the X Factor judge said of the track when he was filmed leaving the studio on Monday.
“I mean chills. It sounds beautiful.”
Jessie J told GMB: “It’s a rare occasion to get this amount of artists on one song.
“Those people who have lost everything… I can’t even imagine.”
