Ariana Grande One Love Manchester viewers in tears at emotional show ‘I’ve got goosebumps’

Grande and other huge artists took to the stage in Manchester to perform in honour of those who lost their lives and were injured in the bombing at her sold-out concert on Monday, May 22.

The benefit gig broadcast live on BBC One and streamed simultaneously across the world on several channels and on Twitter.

Hashtags for the concert trended on social media, as one viewer tweeted: “Each time the camera pans over to a person crying I start to cry #OneLoveManchester.”

“Watching #OneLoveManchester with tears in my eyes. What a beautiful thing it is to see the world come together through music,” said another, as a third posted: “Awww crying so much god bless!!! #OneLoveManchester.”

“The world coming together, is what makes humanity so beautiful. We won’t let fear break us!! The tears have started #OneLoveManchester,” wrote a fourth.

A fifth added: “So many goosebumps & emotions already for #OneLoveManchester They think they’ll divide us but we all stand together, strong in solidarity!”

Grande said that she was inspired by the love and compassion on display by the people of Manchester and wanted to commemorate those affected. 

As tens of thousands took to the stands at Old Trafford Cricket Ground, fans were overcome with emotion.

One fan tweeted: “I’ve never had this many chills and goosebumps ever. I have no words. This is beautiful. #ONELOVEMANCHESTER.”

“Goosebumps all the way through this concert. This is actually incredible #OneLoveManchester,” posted another.
