EastEnders spoiler: Jack Branning BREAKS DOWN after Matthew taken by Charlie Cotton

After he agreed to let Matthew live with biological father Charlie Cotton (played by Declan Bennett) in Ireland, an emotional Jack (Scott Maslen) struggles to come to terms with the idea of life without him.

Charlie assures Jack that he will take care of Matthew, but will he change his mind in tomorrow’s episode?

Following a heart-to-heart with Mick Carter (Danny Dyer), Jack decided to allow Matthew to move overseas.

At the end of Friday’s episode, he phoned Charlie’s partner Liz, saying: “Liz, I want to come and visit your house, I want to see it.

“I want it written down, all the rules agreed. You need to spend a lot more time with Matthew.

“As far as he’s concerned, you’re a stranger and Matthew is just a baby.”

He added: “You can tell Charlie, tell him I won’t be fighting you.

“You can have residence, you can take Matthew to Ireland.”

Has Max Branning (Jake Wood) finally succeeded in separating Jack from Ronnie’s (Samantha Womack) son?

Or will Jack discover his brother’s true intentions and devious plotting before it’s too late?

EastEnders continues tomorrow on BBC One at 8pm.
