Britain’s Got Talent 2017: Simon Cowell SHOCKED by comedian Daliso Chaponda slave joke

The 57-year-old looked flabbergasted and simultaneously in stitches as he heard the Malawi-born comic – who is Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer act this year – make a joke about being a slave.

Daliso, 37, was heard saying as part of his comedy routine: “I’m black, 200 years ago this would have been an auction! We’ve come a long way, that’s all I’m saying!”

His punchline sent the crowd and the judges wild as Simon could not stop laughing and could been seen mouthing: “Wow!”

Even Alesha Dixon could not stop laughing as she stood up to applaud him for his comedy.

Afterwards the panel were full of praise for Daliso as Simon told him: “I love that you are fantastically non-PC.”

Meanwhile, Amanda told him: “I think that is even better than the first time we saw you. You were so on the edge, it was naughty, it was edgy. You smashed it.”

The two acts will be joining MerseyGirls, The Pensionalities, Kyle Tomlinson, mind reading act DNA, magician Matt Edwards, Issy Simpson, Tokio Myers and comedian Ned Woodman.

The judges are also set to be announcing a wildcard they’ve chosen from the acts that failed to make it through.

Britain’s Got Talent 2017 final will air on ITV tomorrow at 7.30pm.
