Bond girl Molly Peters dead: Her sexy scenes almost earned Thunderball an X-Rating – WATCH

Peters has died aged 75. The official James Bond Twitter page made the announcement earlier today.

The British actress played nurse Patricia Fearing in Thunderball and only starred in two other films before quitting acting under mysterious circumstances.

Her on screen nudity (aprt from a strategic sheet) almost earned te Bond movie an X-rating before changes were made.

Watch her in action next.

In the famous nurse scene, she asks OO7 to take off his bathrobe so she can examine his injuries and he soon has her in his clutches.

It is typical Bond, even if it feels rather predatory and uncomfortable to watch from a modern perspective.

Molly holds her own, however, when she tells him: “Behave yourself Mr Bond. I can see there’s only one place to keep you quiet.”

She pulls back the curtain to reveal a motorised traction table for stretching the spine before teasing: “Some patients call it The Rack.”

Once he is securely strapped in she adds: “There now. First time I’ve felt safe all day.”

After she leaves him an enemy comes in and turns the speed up to dangerous levels. Molly’s timely return saves the day before Bond finally uses the attack to get her where he wants her.

She suggest a steam session which “Might even shrink you back to size.”

Blimey.

However she is still worried she might lose her job over the terrible near-death drama. Bond smirks: “Well I suppose my silence could have a price.”

And into the Turkish Baths they go to steam up more than the screen…
