In this week’s episodes of the ITV soap, Sally’s (played by Sally Dynevor) daughters Rosie (Helen Flanagan) and Sophie Webster (Brooke Vincent) showed they were a force to be reckoned with as they tried to track down the cyber bully.
After uncovering an address of the person who left an obituary for Sally in the Weatherfield Gazette, the sisters staked out Leah Buckley’s house (Molly McGylnn).
When she emerged with her stepmother, Rosie was left in shock as she realised it was Gina Seddon (Connie Hyde), Sally’s sister.
And, in upcoming scenes, the siblings are determined to find out why their aunt Gina would want to hurt their mother.
But when they later come face-to-face with their relative, they are left even more confused.
When they confront Gina about the vicious messages that had been sent to Sally, she is left completely stunned by their accusations and denies any involvement.
Leah steps in and blames her step-mother’s bipolar condition for her confusion and insists that Gina is the stalker but has no memory of what she’s done.
Gina is visibly upset and Rosie and Sophie are now unsure who to believe.
Is Leah actually the stalker? Is Gina not the culprit after al? Or is Leah covering it up for someone else?
Coronation Street continues tomorrow on ITV at 7.30pm.
