GTA 5 Online update: Tiny Racers PS4, Xbox One RELEASE TIME, gameplay and more

GTA 5 Online just received a big new update on PS4, Xbox One and PC, as the Tiny Racers release date finally rolls around.

The latest GTA Online update adds the retro-inspired Tiny Racers game mode to Rockstar’s popular open-world release.

GTA 5 Online’s Tiny Racers update is live right now, which means PS4, Xbox One and PC owners can get stuck in straight away.

Tiny Racers shifts the camera to a top-down perspective, similar to the original Grand Theft Auto.

It’s being billed as a retro-inspired stunt racing event, complete with weapons, power-ups, loops and more.

It actually looks a lot like Micro Machines, which is also making a comeback later this year.

New maps and content creator tools are expected to be released in the coming weeks to flesh out the Tiny Racers mode.

This includes the Gun Running expansion, which is currently the last known update for GTA 5 Online.

“Stock up and bunker down as you take on the craziest militias across the state of San Andreas in another massive update for GTA Online.

“Featuring brand new weaponized vehicles and exciting new missions, get ready to fight for supremacy in the illegal arms trade and wage war with the latest in high-powered military hardware.”

And with Red Dead Redemption 2 releasing autumn 2017, it could be that Rockstar stops releasing GTA Online DLC updates later this year.

It follows the recent release of the Land Grab update, which sees four teams claim territory by leaving a neon trail across maps.

Taking place across seven maps, the team with the most territory at the buzzer is declared the victor.

“Every minute counts in Land Grab, where teams battle to control territory in an unforgiving cyberspace: shoot the other guy in the neck, grab his turf, reload and repeat,” reads a Rockstar post.

“If you don’t do it, someone will do it for you.”
