The presenting dream team have been enjoying a fortnight away from screens, with Eamonn Holmes swooping in to replace the duo.
However, with a drama-packed programme, Piers, 54, and Susanna, 46, went down a storm with viewers who complained the ITV show became dull in their absence.
Piers took great pleasure in locking horns with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, while he also humiliated a doctor who claimed six-month-old babies could be racist.
“Over the moon @piersmorgan & @susannareid100 are back!! Piers, your opening sports review had me in stitches,” cried one audience member, as another agreed: “Made my morning listening to @piersmorgan interviewing Jeremy Corbyn on @GMB. Love you Piers.”
A third beamed: “@GMB Piers & Susanna thank goodness they are back. Something to look forward to each morning- missed them,” before one more roared: “I love you piers morgan you crack me up on GMB your fast becoming my guilty pleasure, speak your mind.”
“You make my day every day Piers, keep it up! Goodnight from Las Vegas,” enthused a fifth.
Although, others called for Eamonn to make a permanent return to the Good Morning Britain sofa, with one moaning: “@GMB where’s @EamonnHolmes gone had a shock and saw piers it’s turned me right off.”
Another hissed: “I’ve just walked into my mums and she’s watching gmb. Sorry but how do people watch this when piers is on it? Like he’s the biggest t**t.”
Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid destroyed Jeremy Corbyn as they grilled him over his “crumbling” popularity.
They were also joined by two babies, who disproved Dr. Lee Kang’s theory that babies as young as six-months-old can show racist bias.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
