The Alden Ehrenreich-led sequel is currently shooting at Pinewood Studios for a 2018 release.
The yet-to-be-titled Young Han Solo movie is set to chart the iconic Star Wars character’s origin.
Now Star Wars theorist Mike Zeroh has posted a new video featuring the first look at the Millennium Falcon, currently under construction at the London-based studio.
The picture shows the famous cockpit of the space ship that’s appeared in four Star Wars movies to date.
In his video Zeroh says: “I’m not sure if this is going to be used as an object…where the Falcon will sit in the background, or if the actors and crew members will be able to go inside of it and film scenes.”
However what is known is that the Young Han Solo movie will show how the title character first ended up with the Millennium Falcon.
Last month, while revealing that Han Solo isn’t the character’s real name, Disney CEO Bob Iger said: ““[The movie] picks up with Han Solo when he was 18 years old and takes him through when he was 24.
“There are a few significant things that happen in Han Solo’s life, like acquiring a certain vehicle and meeting a certain Wookiee that will happen in this film.
Of course it goes without saying that the “certain vehicle” is the Millennium Falcon and a “certain Wookiee” is a younger Chewbacca, making the movie a fully fledged origin story for Han Solo.
Young Han Solo will be released in UK cinemas on May 25, 2018.
