The mother-of-one is currently struggling to get her life back on track after her devastating loss and the breakdown of her marriage to Toadie (played by Ryan Moloney).
And, in the latest instalment, she locked lips with Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) as they laid in bed together and he tried to help her sleep.
But, while she was more than happy to cosy up to her best friend, it seems she will soon regret sharing a kiss with him.

Fans of the soap certainly weren’t happy with the latest development with many pleading for Sonya to reunite with Toadie.
One viewer tweeted: “I want Sonya and Toadie back together. I don’t like Mark and Sonya together #Neighbours.”

It comes after it was reported that Toadie’s mum Angie (Lesley Baker) would return to Erinsborough when she learns of her son’s impending divorce.
Unimpressed with Sonya recent actions, she certainly won’t hold back when she comes face-to-face with her daughter-in-law and reminds her that she has also made many mistakes over the years.
