Saturday Night Takeaway thrown into chaos as Stephen Mulhern LOSES IT mid-sketch

The 39-year-old – who was hosting a game of “In For A Penny,” which saw him ask people a series of questions after approaching them on the street in Wolverhampton – let his emotions get the better of him as he posed the question “spell my last name…”

However, when people told him that they didn’t even know what his name was to begin with, Stephen joked about being upset, before letting out an almighty scream.

One person cheekily told him: “I need to know your name first don’t I?” while another guessed: “Brown…Morgan…”

A further person shared: “Jason Donovan…”

When one contestant then thought he had two Ls in his name, Stephen yelled towards the camera and shook his head in disbelief.

Despite his anger though, viewers found Stephen’s antics hilarious, with one person posting: “Stephen Mulhern is literally my favourite person ever #Takeaway.”

“I’m @StephenMulhern’s number one fan I can’t believe I missed him being in Wolves #Unbelieveable,” a second gushed.

Tonight’s Saturday Night Takeaway was as eventful as ever, as Ant and Dec also played a game of Game of Phones, with a little help from Scarlett Moffatt.

Scarlett answered one of the audience members’ phones, before Ant and Dec asked the lucky person which celebrity was behind the specific filter they had picked, in a bid to win them some money.

However, as the skit got more and more chaotic, Ant and Dec continued to scream at the former Gogglebox star, with them saying: “Scarlett, do another one, quick!”

The camera then cut back to Scarlett at one point, as she screamed: “There’s so many phones going off!”

Saturday Night Takeaway continues next Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
