Louise Minchin snubs Dan Walker as she returns to BBC Breakfast with painful foot injury

Louise explained: “I’ve had a foot operation to fix it, it is now on the mend. I’m still on crutches but I’m getting stronger every day.”

Introducing the weather report, Louise continued: “Carol has been so sweet to me, we’ve been in touch.

“I really appreciated your messages and yours Dan but particularly Carol’s.”

“I was going to say,” Dan hit back. “Don’t out me, I did ask if you were okay.”
