Piers Morgan admits defeat and apologises as GMB guest erupts at host: ‘You were right’

“I’m now going to say the words, ‘I’m sorry Andrew,'” Piers said, to which the journalist thanked him for his apology.

“I misheard you,” the host reiterated, explaining why he has misinterpreted what his guest was saying on the matter.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer mocked the presenter for having to admit defeat and apologise to his guest.

“Breaking news, Piers Morgan apologies live on @GMB for not listening to one of his guests and having an incoherent rant based on what he thought he heard. #GMB @piersmorgan.”
