This year there are three Marvel Cinematic Universe movies being released. First up is Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel in March, followed by Avengers Endgame a month later. While Spider-Man Far From Home will arrive in July. And now the full runtime for Captain Marvel has been revealed.
AMC Theatres show the film as being two hours and ten minutes long.
Just over a couple of hours is pretty standard for an MCU solo movie.
Ant-Man and the Wasp, the latest film in the franchise to hit cinemas, clocked in at two hours and five.
While Black Panther was slightly longer at two hours and fifteen minutes long.
Major cinematic releases are rarely over three hours, however, there’s been a few in recent years.

However, the longest mainstream modern example has to be The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, clocking in at three hours and twenty minutes.
Captain Marvel will be released in UK cinemas on March 8 and be followed by Avengers Endgame on April 26, 2019.
