I’m A Celebrity 2018: ‘Force of habit’ Dec Donnelly takes SWIPE at Anne Hegarty

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! saw the campmates get a new leader.

This new leader was chosen by the general public via the app.

The people chose Nick Knowles to be the camp’s new leader after Noel Edmond’s reign came to an end.

However, before Nick’s new role was announced, presenter Dec Donnelly aimed a swipe at the Chase’s Anne Hegerty.

“Anne was ruled out on this on medical grounds,” said Dec with a completely straight face.

“No she isn’t,” said Holly Willoughby.

“Sorry, force of habit,” joked Dec.

This swipe was met with a lot of laughter from the show’s crew.

It was then revealed that Nick had been voted as the camp’s new leader.

Nick chose Anne to be his advisor, and they were given the tough task of having to reallocate people’s roles within the camp.

Meanwhile, viewers saw Harry Redknapp and Noel do on their first Bushtucker Trial yesterday, and their growing friendship has given fans an interesting idea.

Fans thought it would be a good idea if the pair should present the show together next year.

They took to Twitter to comment on the idea.

One wrote on Twitter: “I think we have truly found a new televisual double act in Noel and Harry. Bl**dy superb how they interact with each other… #ImACeleb.”

Another said: “Noel Edmonds and Harry Redknapp are a better duo than Dec and Holly are tbh #ImACeleb.”

A third exclaimed: “Harry and Noel are comedy gold together an older Ant and Dec #ImACeleb.”

While another yelled: “Harry & Noel to present next year! #imaceleb.”

While Ant McPartlin was absent from this year’s show, it has not yet been announced whether he will return.

Could the show be set for a change-up with another pair of hosts set to take over the show?

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
