Square Enix news: Octopath Traveler stock update, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Kingdom Hearts 3

Square Enix news includes an Octopath Traveler stock update as well as the latest on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3.

Octopath Traveler released last month to critical and commercial success on the Nintendo Switch.

Express.co.uk gave Octopath Traveler a 4/5 rating and said it’s a “wonderful game with excellent characters, evocative music, an engaging battle system and a beautiful art style”.

The JRPG has been a huge hit for Square Enix so far, with physical copies selling out around the world fast.

In the UK physical copies of Octopath Traveler are like gold dust, while in Japan it has sold like hot cakes.

The initial shipment of stock in the Land of the Rising Sun sold fast, while a following restock sold out in a matter of hours.

But if you’re a fan in the UK hoping to bag a copy of Octopath Traveler then you’re in luck right now.

While retailers such as Amazon UK are sold out of the physical version there is one place you can turn to.

The Nintendo Official UK Store still has stock available for Octopath Traveler right now.

At the time of writing stock was available with the Nintendo Switch exclusive priced at £49.99.

This is slightly more than other retailers have been selling the physical version of Octopath Traveler at.

However, the version from the Nintendo Official UK Store also comes with a set of collectable cards.

Elsewhere, gamers have continued to put the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 among their top most wanted games.

Famitsu fans have voted on their most highly anticipated upcoming games.

And in the poll done by the respected Japanese gaming mag the Final Fantasy 7 Remake lost its top spot to Kingdom Hearts 3.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which regularly has held the top spot in the reader poll, was displaced by Kingdom Hearts 3 in the most recent issue.
