The mother of five is embarking on her film career by joining the disaster franchise’s fifth outing as a principal love interest.
The Loose Women panelist, 38, affectionately known in the industry as “Pricey”, is set to expand her already enormous empire by entering the world of movies.
Her second major foray into acting; fans will remember Price’s stint as the Wicked Fairy in the pantomime Sleeping Beauty at The New Victoria Theatre. Although critically panned, it seems this won’t stop the writer and reality TV star.
Chris Kattan, the American actor best known for his role in 90s comedy A Night at the Roxbury with Will Ferrell, is the man who was lucky enough to share a kiss with Price on some London steps during Storm Doris yesterday.
Celebrity Big Brother winner Price posted to Instagram from the makeup trailer gushing about her look, before her co-star shared a revealing snap of their dramatic scene.
Kattan captioned the photo: “Currently in #London filming #Sharknado5 for #syfy with #KatiePrice #kisskiss”.
The film also stars TV personalities Jedward, who have had roles since the third serving in the series, and actress Tara Reid who has been along for the ride since the beginning.
Olympic diver Tom Daley has also been spotted in London filming for the latest TV movie.
Sharknado 5 expands the universe of the franchise with tornadoes reaching all over the world this time around, including London, where filming is based.
The film, produced by Syfy and directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, promises in its teaser: “With much of North America lying in ruins, the rest of the world braces for the inevitable: a global sharknado. From London to Asia, South Africa to Mexico, Fin and his family must put a stop to the sharknados once and for all.”
The film is due to be released later this year.
