You’re itching for revenge on your turncoat former posse. Do you reach for your pistol? Nah, that would be too good for those varmints.

A bomb, though? Now we’re talking in Bombslinger, a Western of vengeance and high explosives (Think Bomberman, but with Clint Eastwood).

In Bombslinger, players will lay high explosives on grid-like maps, looking to catch their past gang members in a cross-section of fiery bursts. An array of weapons and upgrades will help make your bombs more effective on the game’s generated maps, with players scrambling to make up new tactics with each varied stage. If they can place their explosives just right, maybe justice will be served. Or they’ll blow themselves up. Both are pretty likely.

Should revenge not appeal, players can always take their bombs and tools into the game’s multiplayer mode, which allows grizzled bombmen to fight it out until only one person is still standing. Explosives and friendships always make for a fine evening, especially with the generated levels adding a lot of chaos to the mix.

Bombslinger is available for $ 11.99 on Steam. For more information on the game and developer Mode4 Games, you can head to the game’s site or follow them on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
