Cheater Ends Up In Match With Pro Overwatch Players, Gets Wrecked

They say karma’s a bitch. I say it’s pretty friggin’ cool sometimes.

During a recent stream, Overwatch pro Brandon “Seagull” Larned, who currently plays for NRG, assembled a truly fearsome six stack. His team was made up of Brady “Agilities” Girardi, who plays for Immortals, Christopher “GrimReality” Schaefer, who also plays for Immortals, CLG player Nathan “Miso” Lui, popular streamer MoonMoon, and Lucio legend DSPStanky.

At one point, they came up against somebody who was clearly aimbotting, likely in order to boost a team of non-aimbotters through the ranks. Perfect, robot-assisted aim will get you a lot of things in this life, but even that will only carry you so far against a battalion of pissed-off pros.

It starts at around 01:01:30 of this video.

Near the beginning, Seagull and co were worried they might actually lose to the cheater’s team, but then they started focusing on the cheater. If that player was up, they relentlessly hammered them down. Seagull was playing Pharah at the time, which I find fitting given that justice pretty much continuously rained from above. And below. And the sides.

At the end, the cheater launched themselves out of the cannon on Oasis, and Seagull’s team converged on them like a plague of vultures. When they’d finally had their fill, all that was left was bones.

By the end, everybody was laughing and having a good time. Except the cheater. Sometimes you just need to see a shitty person—or at least, somebody with no regard for other people’s good time—lose. I doubt they learned any sort of lesson, but at least we can derive pleasure from their frustration.
