Emmerdale spoilers: Graham Foster to take down Joseph Tate in twist you didn't see coming?

In Thursday night’s double bill, viewers watched on as Joseph (played by Ned Porteous) prepared to set Robert (Ryan Hawley) up to make a huge loss while taking control of Jimmy’s (Nick Miles) haulage company.

Tonight’s episode of saw Jimmy have some concerns over Joseph’s plan to buy shares in his company, which led to the elusive businessman telling a few white lies.

Joseph promised that Jimmy would have full control over the haulage business, but he later revealed to his aide Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) that he had no intention of letting him anywhere near it.

Fans of the soap feared that Jimmy could lose his business.

But it was later revealed that he had been in talks with Robert about how to handle the situation.

The pair explained to Jimmy’s wife Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) that they had hired someone to play a solicitor and let Joseph believe he was taking control of the company.

With Joseph transferring £10,000 to Jimmy’s account in order to purchase the haulage company, the dodgy paperwork will land him in trouble in upcoming episodes.

As the business deal goes up in flames, Joseph will be arrested by police for trying to con Jimmy out of his business.

Joseph will quickly realise that Robert has set him up to lose Jimmy’s business but who shopped him in to the police?

Suspicion could land on Graham, who received a sinister warning from Joseph in tonight’s instalment.

As he learned the details of Joseph’s plan to take control of the haulage company, Graham noted: “You really don’t care whose lives you destroy do you?”

“This different,“ Joseph insisted. “They infiltrated by Dad’s haulage company.

“The King’s forced aunty Zoe out and I’m just claiming what is rightfully mine.”

Furious, Graham shot back: “I don’t like the way you treat people when they’re longer any use to you.”

“Well then you better stay useful,” Joseph warned.

Elsewhere in the village, it appeared that Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) and Pete Barton’s (Anthony Quinlan) relationship was on the rocks.

The pair had been going from strength-to-strength but after Ross (Michael Parr) was rushed to hospital with a life-threatening infection, it seemed their romance was becoming strained.

Tonight, Pete told the vet that he thought they should take a break as he looked after his brother.

But when Ross insisted he didn’t need to be babysat, he rushed off to find the mother-of-one and surprise her with an Easter Egg hunt.

Could things be looking up for the couple?

Emmerdale continues Monday on ITV at 7pm.
