Good Morning Britain: Lucy Verasamy stuns Susanna Reid with shock secret 'I couldn't wait'

Lucy, 37, has been a welcome addition to the Good Morning Britain family of late.

As the ITV breakfast team discussed Easter eggs and how many is acceptable for one child to receive, the bubbly weather girl admitted she won’t have any on the big day.

Lucy revealed she had actually already eaten her chocolate rabbit – but it didn’t quite come out that way.

She confessed: “I’ve already had my bunny.”

Susanna Reid, 47, giggled at the outburst and it was down to Lucy to explain what she meant.

“Sorry, I should clarify that – a chocolate bunny,” she reasoned.

Lucy continued: “I just can’t wait!”

Kate Garraway, 50, chimed in, saying her children have to work to get their coveted eggs.

She teased they would have to do chores, joking she needs the wallpaper doing.

Just yesterday, Lucy caused an online frenzy with her Dolly Parton style dress

The brunette beauty made sure all eyes were on her in a summery denim shirt dress.

However, Richard Madeley couldn’t help but notice how the Country legend would wear something similar.

Lucy laughed about how she probably couldn’t pull it off if she shared the same blonde tresses as Dolly.

Later on in the show, the weather girl joked how her outfit didn’t match the weather.

She giggled as she admitted denim is not the best in the rain as it shrinks.

And viewers were sent into a complete frenzy with her appearance yesterday.

One wrote:  “Lucy Verasamy looking superb in her denim outfit. A weather wonder.”

Another added: “The weather lady on #GMB is gorgeousssss.”

A third gushed: “It’s time to look at Lucy…with the weather not the weather with Lucy.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am.
