Remember the Fast Food Rockers? THIS is what they look like now – and fans are shocked

The novelty trio rocketed to fame in 2003 with the Fast Food Song, which became a huge chart hit – peaking at No2 in the UK.

An upbeat, kids’-party-friendly adaptation of a playground chant, it also charted well in Ireland and Australia, eventually being covered by DJ Otzi under the new name Burger Dance.

The Fast Food Rockers – Martin Rycroft, Lucy Meggitt and Ria Scott – went on to score another Top 10 hit with Say Cheese (Smile Please), and hit No25 with their festive offering I Love Christmas.

When their album It’s Never Easy Being Cheesy completely tanked, they were dropped – and disbanded in 2004.

Rycroft shared a reunion photo back at the end of January, but it’s gone viral this week – and people are stunned at how little Meggitt and Scott seem to have aged, and at how handsome Rycroft looks.

“Was lovely catching up with these two,” he captioned the snap.

He has almost 10,000 followers on Instagram, and seems to still be singing and dancing professionally.

“Ooft I wouldn’t mind him on a sesame bun – time has been VERY kind!” joked one person on Twitter when a Smash Hits fan account shared the snap.

“They look much better now,” remarked someone else.

“The Fast Food Rockers bring back wonderful childhood memories! Their Fast Food Song was like the official school disco anthem of 2003!” reminisced a third.

In an age of groups getting back together, could Fast Food Rockers follow suit?
