Emmerdale spoilers: Chas Dingle drops pregnancy bombshell but will she have an abortion?

Chas (played by Lucy Pargeter) was meant to be celebrating her birthday in tonight’s instalment of  but she instead she worried about telling Paddy (Dominic Brunt) that she was pregnant.

The barmaid learned that she was expecting after she hurt her ankle and went for a check-up at the doctors.

After being told that her contraceptive injection had run out, she took a pregnancy test and was stunned by the result.

As the episode came to a close, Chas and her mother Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) discussed how she would tell Paddy her news.

They both believed that he had passed out drunk on the sofa but he had actually heard every word.

In upcoming scenes, fans of the soap will see Chas and Paddy discuss their next steps regarding the pregnancy.

The pair will initially decide to have an abortion as The Woolpack landlady doesn’t want to have another child.

However, Paddy secretly wants to start a family with Chas and is hoping she would keep the baby.

Chas is shocked when she learns the truth but it doesn’t seem as though his desire to settle down will change her mind.

Can Paddy convince her to keep the baby or will he come to terms with Chas’ decision?

Elsewhere in the village, Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) finally learned that her brother Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) had reunited with Robert Sudgen (Ryan Hawley).

The youngster was left speechless when she arrived home to find Robert in the kitchen.

While she was initially sceptical about their reunion, she later agreed to give Robert another chance.

But Liv made the businessman promise not to leave her brother again as she issued a threat.

Emmerdale continues Monday on ITV at 7pm.
