Pictures of the new BMW 8 Series have leaked ahead of its launch later this year.
The new flagship coupe has been spied recently but wearing heavy camouflage.
BMW blog Bimmerpost has, however, now published two leaked images of the production version of the car.
Both the front and rear have been captured in these leaked snaps.
Last year the Concept 8 Series was revealed showing a stunning and dramatically styled new car, worthy of the 8 Series name.
It has sharp angular styling cues and appeared to be a departure in design language for the company.
The leaked photos show that the German car manufacturer has opted for smoother lines, less pronounced grille and a fairly underwhelming overall design.
It is much less of a showstopper than the Concept 8 Series and seems like a fairly safe offering from the manufacturer and more of an extension of the 6 Series coupe than a brand-new car.
Both a coupe and convertible version of the car will be launched.
It is being positioned as a rival to the Mercedes S-Class and Bentley Continental GT.
The car is not expected to go on sale until the summer so expect a full reveal at an Auto Show over the next coming months.
