The pregnant Duchess turns 36 today, and she does have plans for her birthday.
These were confirmed to HELLO! Online, as her Deputy Communications Secretary told them: “She will be spending the day privately.”
Prince William has previously revealed their children like arts and crafts, so it is possible Kate will be opening a homemade gift from them this morning.

Last year, Kate celebrated her birthday in Anmer Hall, Norfolk, as this was where the family was based.
They have since made a relocation to Kensington Palace, London, as Kate and William take on more royal duties.

In the past Kate Middleton has had some exciting birthday dos.
For her 31st birthday the Duchess went to see Cirque du Soleil with Pippa, James, Carole and Michael Middleton, and some of her friends.
The event took place at the Royal Albert Hall five years ago.

Kate Middleton will have another birthday to celebrate soon when her third child is born. The due date is expected to be in April, but the sex and name of the baby has yet to be announced.
However, Kate’s pregnancy news was not mentioned in the Kensington Palace 2017 family highlights.
The slideshow revisted some of the royal family’s milestones in 2017 but the announcement that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their third child in April was left off.
Highlights that did make the cut included Prince George starting school and the William’s last shift as an air ambulance pilot in July.
