Naga appeared to be unimpressed with the presenter’s singing ability as they rehearsed for an upcoming show.
While Dan, 40, belted out a Christmas carol Naga, 42, could be seen sceptically watching on.
Although the father-of-three seemed to be relishing the opportunity to sing, his colleague was clearly dissatisfied and shot him a cold stare.
Unaware of the frosty response he had just received, Dan happily continued to perform with his workmates.
The BBC Breakfast team had been rehearsing for the Christmas show after being challenged by producers to sing in front of an audience.
Meanwhile, viewers took to Twitter to slam the presenters’ singing abilities, with one writing: “Being tortured by the presenters singing.”
“OK @BBCBreakfast enough with the singing… I am up. I AM UP!!!” complained another.
A third posted: “Look @BBCBreakfast your singing may be making you feel better but it’s getting bloody painful for the rest of us! Can’t you rehearse in a shed somewhere until you can carry a tune?”
Others commended the presenters for at least trying, with one saying: “Well done to the @BBCBreakfast singers! They are giving it a go and who cares if they aren’t the greatest singers.”
“Brightened our morning watching @BBCBreakfast #choir practice WELL DONE guys,” exclaimed another.
A third pointed out that they thought Louise Minchin and Naga Munchetty were doing particularly well, writing: “I see @louiseminchin and @BBCNaga have The Christmas Song down. Lovely song and you folks smashed it.”
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays on BBC One at 6am.
