I have never played this (seems p fun, though), so I will leave the explaining to the game’s creators: “In this highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette, players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game — unless that player has a Defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens.”
Promising review: “This game is awesome. It is really quick to learn and is fun for the whole family. Once you learn it you realize that there really is some strategy to winning. The more my family and friends play the game the better we all get and the better the games get. The games go pretty quickly so its not time consuming to play but go long enough for you to really get into it. What is really awesome is that the game is scale-able. While one box will allow for up to five players, you can add another box and double the number of players. Overall great game that the family will play for a long time to come.” —A. James
