2. The King James Bible contains 14 references to nostrils and only 13 to noses. 

3. According to a study in 2011 by Israeli chemical engineering professor Abraham Tamir, there are 14 shapes for a human nose.

10. Shostakovich wrote an opera called The Nose based on a story of the same name by Gogol about a man whose nose takes on its own identity.
