Mass Effect Andromeda DLC silence continues as BioWare reveal multiplayer plans

It’s now believed that there will be no Mass Effect Andromeda DLC released on PS4, Xbox One, or PC.

As revealed last week, the only team now working on the game are focused solely on multiplayer and patch projects.

So today’s announcement would make a lot of sense when it comes to the future of the game.

BioWare have now revealed that they will be releasing a new difficulty mode for the APEX multiplayer missions.

At this time, It’s not clear just how long the limited-time missions that earn valuable Mission Funds to spend on powerful equipment and items will be kept going.

Players can team up with friends or choose to send out their APEX strike teams to grab the loot.

A new trailer was released today to tease the new Platinum difficulty level that will be available in the APEX missions.

No new APEX missions was released this week, although this new announcement suggests that more will be on the way in the near future.

The latest on the situation is that there are still people working from BioWare Montreal on multiplayer support and patches for Mass Effect Andromeda.

But there is reportedly no team dedicated to bringing new Mass Effect Andromeda DLC to the game.

Apparently, there are others still at Montreal who are likely working on Anthem, which looks set to be a massive new IP for EA.

The E3 trailer showed a vast, dangerous and futuristic sci-fi world where players take control of exosuit wielding warriors.

Players use these jet-pack powered exosuits to fly around the lush, green world of Anthem, where huge, fearsome monsters lurk.

The E3 2017 trailer for Anthem, which will have a release date in autumn 2018, began in a first person view before switching to third person.
