Jose Mourinho: I’ll be even happier if Manchester United make one more signing

Manchester United have made three acquisitions so far this window in the form of Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic.

In doing so, they have spent closer to £150million.

Despite their flurry of deals, would still like to bring in another fresh face through the door.

“We need everyone. It’s going to be good, it’s going to be fun to choose the team for every match according to the plan, the opponent, our game-plan,” Mourinho said.

“The squad is good and as I said a few months ago, I was hoping for four players to improve the squad.

“The club did a fantastic job by getting three of them, which is very difficult in the crazy market we’re in now.

“I thank the club. I’ll be happier if they give me four of four but they did a great effort.”

United beat Sampdoria 2-1 last night to cap off an excellent pre-season tour.

They face Real Madrid next on Tuesday before opening their Premier League campaign against West Ham five days later.
