An Aston Martin DB5 expected to fetch about $ 2.3 million in an auction to commemorate the 60th anniversary of James Bond.

The "Sixty Years of James Bond" auction is being conducted by Christie's and is due to start later this month. The last three 007 auctions run by the auction house raised almost $ 7.2 million.

There are items commemorating each of the six actors to have played Bond, including Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig.

While costumes, boats and Bond-related getaways are up for grabs, the most eye-catching is a collection of classic cars, mostly from "No Time to Die", including Aston Martins, Jaguars, and Land Rovers.

Bidders will need deep pockets to lump for the cars seen in the film, but there's also an exclusive model replica for the more frugal bidder.

The Aston Martin DB5 that features in the opening sequence of No Time to Die is a key lot at the upcoming auction.

In the film, Bond is assaulted on all fronts by assailants, meaning his car has accordingly seen better days.
The car was one of eight stunt replicas used by Daniel Craig to film "No Time To Die". It is the only car that has been put up for auction.
The car comes resplendent with replica machine guns used in the film.
The DB5 is expected to fetch between £1.5 million ($ 1.7 million) and £2 million ($ 2.3 million).
Daniel Craig drove another Aston Martin in the film: the Aston Martin V8.
V8s were manufactured by Aston Martin between 1969 and 1989.
Christie's expects the car to go for between £500,000 and £700,000 ($ 577,000 and $ 808,000).
A more modern Aston Martin is also on the market. The DBS Superleggera No Time To Die 007 Special Edition is expected to fetch between £300,000 to £400,000 ($ 346,000 and $ 462,000).
A Land Rover Defender 110 featured in "No Time to Die" is among three cars up for sale. Christie's said Land Rover "tore up the rulebook" by allowing the new Defender on set months before its global launch.
The Land Rover Defender 110 is expected to go for between £300,000 and £500,000 ($ 346,000 and $ 577,000).
A Jaguar XF used in the opening sequence of "No Time to Die" is also up for auction. The car pursued James Bond on the streets of Matera in southern Italy.
The more frugal bidder might have more luck with this Jaguar, which is expected to fetch between £50,000 and £70,000 ($ 58,000 and $ 81,000).
And for those with just a few thousand to spare, this miniature BMW 750 from 1997's "Tomorrow Never Dies" is set to go for between £7,000 to £10,000 ($ 8,000 to $ 11,500).
The model BMW is just 15 inches high and 49 inches long.
