ITV This Morning: Ruth Langsford SHAMED by Bruno Tonioli 'It's not my fault'

, 59, presented  alongside her husband Eamonn Holmes, 59, with the pair interviewing Bruno about his new DVD.

Looking back at the best moments from ’s Blackpool shows, Bruno revealed filming fro the DVD was the first time he has watched himself back on screen.

However, Bruno made a remark about Ruth who failed to make it to Blackpool with her professional partner Anton Du Beke, 52, when she took part on the show last year

This led Ruth to jokingly blame Bruno for her exit from the show before she got a chance to dance at Blackpool.

Beginning the interview, Eamonn said: “I don’t know anything about Blackpool because Ruth didn’t get there,” with his wife looking on in shock.

Bruno then said of Ruth’s exit from Strictly: “Oh I know, don’t blame the judges,” to which the former Strictly star added: “I blame you.”

“It’s me, it’s all my fault,” Bruno joked before adding: “You missed a good one…Blackpool is always incredible.

Moving on, the Strictly judge then added: “When you watch the performances, you tend to forget how much wonderful stuff has been on over the 15 years.”

Eamonn then came back to his wife’s departure, joking: “Everyone’s there except Ruth,” with Ruth adding: “I know I will never live that down.”

Speaking about the Blackpool experience, Bruno revealed: “There is an energy in the room to make everyone give the almost astonishing numbers.

“It’s not set up as a TV studio, it’s like a huge room. I had someone pushing me around or I would get lost,” he admitted.

Bruno also went on to speak about who he thinks will win the Strictly crown next week ahead of this weekend’s semi-final.

Referring to remaining celebrities in particular, Bruno admitted: “The biggest surprise for me has been Joe [Sugg] and Stacey [Dooley].

“When we start in August and you do the presentation, I said this is interesting but I don’t know why…I would have never thought they would apply themselves to the show so seriously.

“Joe particularly is getting better and better.”

Speaking about Stacey’s, 31, quarterfinal performance last weekend, Ruth reminded Bruno he had been brought to tears over the routine.

“Stacey on Saturday, I felt I was in theatre and I cried, it was just so touching,” Bruno admitted.

Earlier in the show,

Speaking of his exit, Nick revealed the toughest parts of his experience were the things viewers didn’t see in the highlights show.

Nick said: “The bits you don’t see much in the programme are actually the things that wear you out.

“So you have to go all the way down to the bottom of a very steep hill to get the wood for the fire which you have to do about eight or nine time a day.”
