- Kevin Spacey is facing a felony charge of sexual assault for allegedly assaulting a former Boston TV news anchor’s teenage son in 2016.
- Spacey will be arraigned on a charge of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over at Nantucket District Court on Jan. 7, the Barnstable County Superior Court clerk’s office said.
- Longtime Boston journalist Heather Unruh publicly accused Spacey last year of sexually assaulting her son at a Nantucket, Mass., restaurant in July 2016. “I want to see Kevin Spacey go to jail,” Unruh told reporters during a press conference in November 2017.
- In a bizarre twist, Spacey appears to have posted a three-minute YouTube video on Monday titled “Let’s Be Frank,” in which he speaks to the camera in the guise of his “House of Cards” character Frank Underwood, and seems to address the accusation he’s facing.
