Game of Thrones season 8 LEAK: Jon Snow for Iron Throne? Enormous end-game spoiler ahead

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington – who plays Jon Snow in the HBO fantasy – has been reportedly spotted filming in a location that could suggest he ends up on the Iron Throne after all.

The 30-year-old was spied in Dubrovnik, Croatia, according to one eagle-eyed fan.

A Twitter-user wrote on February 5 posted: “KIT HARINGTON JUST WALKED IN FRONT OF MY F**KING NOSE AND I COULD EVEN SAY A F**KING WORD BECAUSE I HAD DRIVING LESSONS AAAAAAUGHH I.”(sic)

They followed it with: “Dubrovnik, my hometown, they’re filming #GameOfThrones there right now, I’m 99.9 per cent sure that was him.”

The account has since been deleted which certainly casts doubt on the claims.

However, should Kit be filming in Croatia, the consequences for Jon could be enormous.

Dubrovnik is the filming home of King’s Landing, most famously known for where the Iron Throne sits.

Although Jon’s forecasted story is a battle with the dreaded Night King (played by Vladimir Furdik), his apparent appearance in Croatia throws a new plot into question.

It is already fact that Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister, and Jamie Lannister star, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, are filming in the country.

With this in mind, it seems appropriate to suggest that if the claims are true, the trio could be part of the final conclusion.

Will Jon steal the Iron Throne from the Lannisters at the last minute?

This huge theory comes as another appears to suggest Jon will snatch the title from his new auntie, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

One Reddit user has worked out that Jon has the most time on screen, amounting to a whopping 5.63 hours, or 338 minutes.

He beats Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) who has gained 337 minutes and Daenerys, who only has 276.

Of course, this could all change by the last season and fans know that the writers will be sure to drop several bombshells in the eighth and final season.

Game of Thrones will return to Sky Atlantic in 2019.
