‘Bipolar’ Trump? Twitter stumped after confusing stance on Syria

President Donald Trump’s Twitter page can be an alarming and confusing place at the best of times. His latest instance of indecision over war or world peace has sparked questions about his mental health, however.

The president began his morning on Wednesday by warning Russia to “get ready” for “nice and new and ‘smart’” missiles that would soon be fired at Syria. Just a week ago, he talked about withdrawing US troops from the country, but that’s neither here nor there.

Less than an hour later, Trump followed up his threatening tweet by saying that he wants to improve US-Russia relations, asking for all nations to “work together” and calling for stopping the “arms race.”

The bizarre, lightning-quick turnaround on major foreign policy sparked a frenzy on Twitter,  with many people questioning the president’s mental health. Some went as far as to suggest that he may be suffering from bipolar disorder.
