5th boy rescued from flooded cave in Thailand

A fifth boy has been rescued from the flooded Tham Luang cave in northern Thailand, a local official confirmed to media. Thai authorities launched a daring rescue operation on Sunday, saying that the conditions were “most suitable” for evacuation. Four boys had already been successfully rescued and taken to the hospital. Rescuers are racing against the weather as monsoon storm clouds could bring rain at any moment, which would further flood the cave. A total of 90 divers – 50 foreign and 40 Thai – are involved in the mission.
