10 killed, 50 injured in gas explosion in Crimea college – emergency services

A powerful gas explosion has rocked a college in the Crimean city of Kerch, killing at least ten people and injuring 40. Emergency services and rescue vehicles are on the scene. Over 20 people have been taken to hospital so far.

A possible gas leak has led to the explosion inside the college’s canteen. Emergency services said ten people have been killed and at least 50 injured.

Crimean emergency services and ambulances were scrambled shortly after the blast was reported.

Local media has posted photos showing the aftermath of the incident. Ambulances and injured people on stretchers can be seen outside the college.
