‘You should know that’ Emily Thornberry’s leadership bid ridiculed after huge name blunder

“Good Morning Britain,” Ray corrected. “It’s not been called GMTV for a long time.”

Thornberry apologised but Ray swiped: “If you’re going to be the leader of any party you need to know that.”

Deflecting, Thornberry remarked: “What I need if I’m going to be leader of the party is to appear on this programme on a regular basis and be accountable.”
