She explained: “It’s not that simple love-at-first-sight he might’ve been looking for a couple of years ago. He’s a different guy. He’s been through more.”
She added that Love sees Joe as a “kindred spirit”, sensing he has suffered a great loss – without realising the circumstances of how it came to pass.
Sera said: “The circumstances of his encounter with Love are very informed by what he went through with Beck.”
However, things are set to be dark for Candace, Sera said: “She is a survivor.
“And now she’s faced with some really difficult decisions about how she’s going to move forward.”
You season 2 will be released on Netflix on December 26.
