Everyone has taken a wrong turning and got lost once in their life.
Yet animals are assumed to have a much better sense of direction.
One majestic creature apparently didn’t get the directional genes after getting lost in a harbour marina.
It definitely gave some of the people a shock.
The video on the Youtube channel Pacific Eagle Air Cam shows the moment the 40-foot-long whale was swimming underneath Ventura Marina.
The people on the bay are spotted filming the large creature swimming around it.
The nerves hit a few of them when the humpback whale swam towards them, as they fled to more solid ground.
However, it has a happy ending.
The caption stated that the animal was lured back to the wild by using “a loop of humpback whale feeding sounds”.
Other commenters found the situation just as amazing.
Although one wrote: “Look at the puny humans running from the zero danger they were in.”
Yet one didn’t find the situation as beautiful and was less impressed.
Another user commented: “Technically they’re not lost seeing as they live in the ocean.”
It’s not the first time whales have been spotted in a shocking situation on camera.
However, two travellers found themselves in much more danger when near the animals.
