Video footage shows a family, with a young girl, in a boat.
A sea lion then grabs on to its stern.
It simply holds on and enjoys the ride.
A toddler watches the cute animals with excitement.
At one point a family member is seen feeding the sea lion some fish.
It then lifts its head up signalling it wants more.
After swallowing the fish whole, the adult sea lion adoringly rests its chin on the edge of the boat.
The camera then turns towards the pup, swimming beside it also trying to hold on to the stern.
The baby sea lion is not able to get a good grip on its first attempt.
However, by the end it has gripped on tightly and also begins to enjoy the boat ride.
This cute video was uploaded to YouTube last week and has since gone viral.
