Dash cam footage has captured the hair-raising near-miss for these two drivers.
The semi-truck was travelling along a state highway in Ohio.
Intersecting the road was a deserted country track.
As the truck passed through the intersection, a car came speeding down the road.
Rather than stopping at the stop sign to give the truck driver their right of way, the car kept going.
It was already too late for the truck driver to slam on their brakes.
But incredibly the car passed in front of the truck, missing it by a matter of inches.
Just a second earlier or later and the two vehicles would have crashed into each other with extreme force.
The shocking video has gone viral since it was shared online.
Uploaded to YouTube, the clip has been viewed more than 93,000 times.
One viewer commented: “Damn that was close.”
Another wrote: “I bet both drivers are still screaming since this happened”.
