WATCH: Cruise ship caught in huge storm as waves BATTER vessel

The viral video shows the cruise ship being thrown about by the storm, with the swimming pool rocking with the motion.

Whilst the pool is empty, the water inside it is thrown outside of it, whilst workers cling to the sides next to it.

The Youtube video, which has had over 530,000 views, also shows the ship being battered by huge waves that reach the top of the ship.

It is a terrifying storm that the ship manages to survive against.

The huge waves throw a sea of spray against the ship, preventing the camera from being able to see anything amongst the haze.

In the final part of the video, the storm can be seen to eventually calm down, whilst the water still has choppy waves that the ship battles through.

Youtube users were impressed with the size of the storm.

One wrote: “An 88,000 ton ship being tossed around like a toy. Love it.”

Others found a more positive side to the pool being affected by the storm.

Another commented: “Instant wave pool!”

One user was much less optimistic about the experience.

They remarked: “I think, no, I’m sure this is how people get killed on cruise ships.”

Cruise ships can often survive even the strongest of storms due to their robust build.

One ship was tied up in a port yet still managed to escape because of the stormy weather.

It ends up crashing into another boat, causing chaos in the port.

The narrator of the video ends up being the star of the show.
