UK flights with free hand luggage included are slowly being phased out in the airline market as many remove the bags allowed into the cabin.
Wizz Air and Ryanair are the latest to remove free suitcases being allowed onboard.
Etihad recently announced the launch of their new hand luggage only tickets as budget travellers aim to save the pennies.

Ryanair – 10kg
Passengers are not currently allowed any free hand luggage into the cabin.
Travellers who want to take a bag onboard can either pay for Priority Boarding, costing £6, or pay for a bag which is £8.
Bags which are considered hand luggage sized must weigh no more than 10kg to be allowed onboard.
EasyJet – unlimited
The low-cost airline is the only one on the market to currently offer no weight limit for hand luggage passengers.
The bag is also included in the price of a ticket, although small handbags or laptop bags must also fit into this.
Jet2 – 10kg
Passengers flying on Jet2 are allowed 10kg of free luggage onboard.
This is included in the airfare for all travellers.
Thomas Cook – 6kg
For travellers who book the most basic airfare when flying with Thomas Cook, they are allowed little in weight in regards in their hand luggage.
Suitcases being taken into the cabin must weigh no more than 6kg.
This increases to 10kgs for Premium Class passengers.
If the weight exceeds the limit then it is placed in the hold for an extra charge.
Tui – 5kg
Tui allows just one piece of hand luggage onboard weighing 5kg.
This is half the weight of many airlines and is the same for both TUI flights and TUI package holidays.
Premium club travellers are allowed 7kg in their hand luggage.
Other airlines offer up to 23kg in hand luggage bags, such as British Airways.
Virgin Atlantic and Flybe offer 10kg in weight for hand baggage while Etihad and Emirates allow 7kg in weight.
